Saturday, February 1 - today we left for New York. In the morning we met at Brussels Midi station to check in. It was the first time I saw my new fellow students in person. Then we took the TGV to Paris to Charles de Gaulle Airport. On the train we had our first talks with our fellow students - simply the first encounter - what are you studying, where do you come from etc. At the airport we had a long waiting time, because we didn't leave for New York until the evening.
Since I still had some things to do for university at home, I could use the time well.Around midnight we arrived in New York, after a long wait at the passport control we could finally get into the taxi and drive to our home for the next week, where we only divided the rooms and fell into bed exhausted.
It is supposed to be a short night, but the anticipation of tomorrow outweighs!
